Nurse practitioners (NPs), Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs), and other advanced practice clinicians who care for women.

  • Describe and differentiate between and among the spectrum of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
  • Identify evidence-based brief interventions to improve patient outcomes.
  • Develop a referral network of professionals to co-manage women experiencing PMAD.

The purpose of this session is to provide an overview of the clinical management and challenges to diagnosing and treating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
